I have been living alone in this empty house for seven years, in only one room. At the beginning I was frightened, but I have gotten used to it. The toilet is in the backyard and during the summer I also wash myself there. My family lives in the Ukraina. I have three children, my two sons are already married. I work here, so that my daughter can go to college. My son and I worked hard for a whole year to pay for his wedding. After the wedding my husband left and he has never come back. Sometimes I feel lonely without my family in Moscow. At night I often think about what has happened. Sometimes I laugh just so that I don’t cry.
